We are the last school at the far-left end of Barceloneta beach, right before the open coast. While other groups cross paths in the busy middle of the bay, we paddle straight out into clean, open water, so the sun comes up over an empty sea with the whole skyline behind you. It is also why our photos look the way they do: no swimmers, no boards in the background, just you and the city waking up.
